Free or Low-Cost Mammogram

While Susan G. Komen® Arizona is not a direct service provider of mammograms or breast cancer treatment, we are committed to providing our community with access to these vital resources.

Well Woman HealthCheck Program
Arizona’s Well Woman HealthCheck Program, a state-wide program that provides free cancer screening to those that qualify, is the first contact for women with no health insurance and no diagnosis of breast cancer. The program is operated by the Arizona Department of Health Services through a cooperative agreement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Women on the program may receive a Clinical Breast Exam, Mammogram, Pelvic Exam and Pap Test.

To qualify for the Well Woman HealthCheck Program you must:

  • be a woman
  • reside in Arizona
  • for breast cancer screening be at least 40 years old (any age with symptoms),
  • for cervical cancer screening (Pap tests, etc.), be at least 21 years old,
  • uninsured/underinsured- insurance does not cover these preventive services, or have insurance with high deductibles
  • income 100% – 250% of federal poverty level (FPL)
